Project Overview
This was a greenfield project for the Cement Industry in Mangrol, Rajasthan. The primary structural challenge involved the design of a specialized steel bridge intended to carry an Overland Belt Conveyor across a functioning railway line. This crucial structure ensures the seamless and efficient transport of raw materials or finished cement products within the industrial complex, overcoming a major operational hurdle.
Casad's Scope of Work CASAD served as the Structural Design Consultant for this complex industrial-railway interface structure.
Structural Design Consultancy: Provided the complete structural design for the specialized steel bridge.
Conveyor Load Analysis: Performed advanced structural analysis to ensure the bridge can safely handle the full, moving load of the Overland Belt Conveyor and all associated equipment.
Railway Clearance & Safety: Designed the span and vertical clearance of the bridge to meet all regulatory safety standards for construction above a railway line.
Detailed Fabrication Drawings: Prepared all necessary technical drawings for the steel fabrication and erection of the conveyor bridge.
