Project Overview This vital project involved the construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) and a Flyover Bridge at the bustling Sanathal Junction on the SP Ring Road in Ahmedabad. With a project cost of 92.00 Crore, this integrated infrastructure solution by AUDA aimed to significantly decongest one of Ahmedabad's critical traffic bottlenecks. The project enhances seamless traffic flow, improves road safety, and provides a crucial upgrade to the city's rapidly expanding urban infrastructure.


Casad's Scope of Work Our involvement in this project centered on the detailed structural components and construction methodologies employed to deliver this integrated ROB and Flyover solution.
  • Detailed Design Review: Reviewing and ensuring the detailed design of all structural elements, including substructure, superstructure, and approaches, to meet specified performance criteria and safety standards.

  • Construction of ROB Portion: Execution of the Road Over Bridge section (50.48 meters) over the railway line, involving specialized construction techniques to ensure minimal disruption to railway operations.

  • Construction of Flyover Portion: Execution of the Flyover section (267.10 meters), including the casting and erection of multiple spans.

  • Integration of Approaches: Seamless construction of the Bopal (337.572 meters) and Aslali (294.4 meters) approaches, utilizing appropriate road and embankment construction methods.

  • Complex Superstructure Execution: Precise installation of 162 cast-in-situ girders (25.300m spans), 20 deck slabs (8.40m), and 2 PSC Box Girders (45m), demonstrating advanced construction capabilities.
