Project Overview

Casad Infra Solutions was entrusted with the structural design and engineering of a major Railway Overbridge (ROB) as part of a broader highway relocation initiative in Louisiana. The project, executed in collaboration with LA DOTD standards, addresses the need for a seamless highway realignment while introducing a new rail overpass to improve safety, efficiency, and regional connectivity.

The scope spans from the design of the new bridge structure and roadway realignment to the strategic management and relocation of critical utility infrastructure. The project site presented challenges due to the presence of both local distribution and large-scale transmission assets, requiring meticulous coordination to mitigate regional service disruptions.




Casad's Scope of Work
  • Bridge Engineering Design: Structural analysis and design of a robust rail-over-highway bridge in compliance with LA DOTD specifications.

  • Roadway Realignment Engineering: Technical support and alignment optimization to integrate the new bridge with existing and proposed road infrastructure.

  • Utility Coordination & Relocation Planning: Comprehensive mapping and engineering solutions for the relocation of multi-utility assets including power, water, and communication lines.

  • BIM and CAD Documentation: Development of detailed 3D models and construction-ready drawings to streamline coordination across agencies and stakeholders.
