Project Overview
Casad Infra Solutions is proud to serve as the prime structural and architectural consultant for the Sabarmati Rolling Stock Depot, the largest and most technologically advanced high-speed train maintenance facility in India. A critical node in the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor, the 83-hectare depot will perform both light and heavy maintenance for the Shinkansen trainsets, bringing Japanese rail precision to Indian soil.
As a key design and BIM partner, Casad was responsible for multi-disciplinary integration, enabling the project to meet exacting standards of safety, functionality, and sustainability. Our work supported NHSRCL in aligning with global benchmarks while navigating local engineering requirements.
Casad’s comprehensive BIM-led approach enhanced decision-making, reduced coordination errors, and brought efficiency to one of India’s most ambitious infrastructure projects. The Sabarmati Depot is not just a maintenance facility—it's a cornerstone of India’s high-speed future, and Casad is proud to have shaped its foundation.
