Casad Services: Architectural BIM Model, Rendering
Project Overview
Casad delivered a complete architectural BIM solution for a Dubai-based project with no available CAD or 3D documentation. Using only client-provided photographic references and basic dimensional inputs, we developed a highly accurate and detailed BIM model, accompanied by annotated 2D drawings and photorealistic renderings. This digital asset enabled the client to visualize, document, and advance design decisions with confidence.
Casad's Scope of Work
BIM Modeling from Visual References
Interpreted architectural elements solely from photographs and sketches.
Modeled key features such as facades, fenestration, roof structures, and finishes in Autodesk Revit.
Maintained dimensional fidelity using estimation techniques grounded in architectural principles and the limited data provided.
2D Documentation
Extracted floor plans, elevations, and sectional drawings directly from the BIM model.
Added dimensions, tags, annotations, and followed standard drawing conventions for client clarity and planning submissions.
3D Rendering & Visualization
Produced high-resolution renders using advanced visualization tools to showcase interiors and exteriors.
Simulated materials, lighting, and environmental conditions in line with the visual aesthetic of the client’s vision.
Deliverables
Revit (.RVT) Architectural BIM Model
Annotated 2D drawings (Plans, Elevations, Sections)
Photorealistic rendered views
Challenges Addressed
Created a dimensionally accurate model without existing plans or CAD files
Interpreted complex architectural elements from limited image angles
Ensured both visual appeal and technical rigor across drawings and renders
